GeoTag-X is a crowdsourcing research project set up by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research’s Operational Satellite Applications Programme (UNITAR-UNOSAT) as part of the Citizen Cyberlab project.

GeoTag-X aims to help disaster relief efforts on the ground to plan a response by asking volunteers to analyse photos taken in disaster-affected areas.

Anyone can be a volunteer for GeoTag-X.
There are no particular skills required to participate and it only takes a few minutes or less to analyse each photo.
